Anita Gover
IT Consultant and Project Manager
Anita is the founder and CEO of TechAbility. She has over 20 years’ experience in IT having worked in various roles in financial services and risk management before moving into IT consulting which exposed her to industries such as government, education, retail, social enterprises, and non-profits.
Anita is a true IT all-rounder, having started out in infrastructure and system administration, business analysis and project management, and managing compliance, governance, and security. She has implemented countless systems, managed end-to-end web applications, managed entire departments of IT support and development staff, developed and documented IT processes, and facilitated testing, training and workshops for customer and staff. Anita worked in senior IT roles in corporate organisations for the last 10 years, but was looking to bring her years of technology experience to help organisations with purpose.
Anita started freelance consulting in 2018 and worked with several not-for-profit organisations and soon found her niche through personal experience dealing with NDIS providers. Anita is a mum of a son with Down Syndrome and through her experiences in working with NDIS providers, she identified a lack of quality technology solutions and support for this sector. She now combines her personal insight as an NDIS self-manager with her years of technology experience to help organisations with purpose to get the most out of technology so they can get on with the great work they do for their clients.
